Saddle & Bit Fitting Price List
1.5-2 hours. A full static and ridden assessment of horse, saddle, and rider. Includes balance checks, conformation assessment, and minor adjustments if needed. A detailed fitting report is provided after each session.
Full Saddle Fitting (Plettenberg Bay) - R850
1.5-2 hours. A full static and ridden assessment of horse, saddle, and rider. Includes balance checks, conformation assessment, and minor adjustments if needed. A detailed fitting report is provided after each session. *Includes Travel Fee. Needs a minimum of 3 clients in that area.
Full Saddle Fitting (Knysna-George) - R1250
1.5 hours. A Bombers Bit fitting to assess mouth conformation, comfort, and communication. Includes bit trials (static and ridden) and fitting notes.
Bit Fitting - R650
On-site spot flocking is a targeted adjustment to your saddle, designed to rebalance panels and relieve pressure points while keeping your horse comfortable. Each adjustment is done by hand and can add 15–30 minutes to your fitting. Please note that if panels are in poor condition, or have not been reflocked in 3 years, a full reflock may be recommended.
On-site spot flocking - R250
Complete replacement of flocking to 100% Jacob's wool with wool felt lining. Other wool options can be discussed*. Requires us to open up the saddle and remove the panels. A full reflock is recommended every 3 years.
Full Panel Reflock - R2500
We work in partnership with Erreplus South Africa and Tack 'n Togs. For Erreplus Saddle Trials an additional charge of R1000 will be charged to cover courier charges for Erreplus saddles. Should you decide to purchase an Erreplus Saddle following our fitting, this amount will be refunded.
Erreplus Saddle Trials - R1000
*We are based in Plettenberg Bay. A R6 per km travel fee may apply for fittings outside of this zone. When multiple horses are scheduled for an area, this travel fee can be divided amongst clients.
